General information about kids training
Our weekend camp on October 11th and12th at the famous Beach Mitte offers age-appropriate and playful training in multiple small groups. With one training session per day, children will learn the most important beach volleyball techniques – all while having lots of fun and staying active in the sand!
Our coach, experienced former profi Mack McKelton, brings over a decade of beach volleyball training experience and knows exactly how to inspire kids in the sport. Through playful and motivating methods, he teaches the fundamentals of the game while strengthening teamwork and self-confidence.
Beach volleyball-Camp training levels and age
Our beach volleyball training in Berlin stands out through five key areas, which are implemented in every training session:
Every child is unique – with individual strengths, experiences, and their own approach to the game. That’s why we place great importance on designing the training to fit each child. Through playful, age-appropriate methods and a strong focus on enjoyment, we help young athletes develop their skills and confidence in the sport.
Depending on the number of bookings, we divide the children into different groups so they can train with peers aged 7 to 13. This ensures that the training is not only effective but also a lot of fun!
In our small training groups with a maximum of eight children, our experienced coaching team provides personalized support for every participant. Our coaches, who have played beach volleyball at a high level, know exactly how to teach kids the techniques and game strategies in an engaging and enjoyable way. We prioritize quality over quantity, which means no overcrowded sessions – each child receives the individual attention they need.
Training structure
To achieve high intensity and greater individual attention, we train with a maximum of 8 participants. Each training session follows a clear structure, with a strong focus on the athleticism and technique of each individual player.

The Beach Volleyball Camp will take place indoor in Beach Mitte in Caroline-Michaelis-Straße 8, 10115 Berlin. The camp will be INDOOR. The court fees, balls and the coach are included in the prices.

Training packages / cost
Enjoy the flexibility that our beach volleyball camp in Berlin offers: Book up until 3 days before the start (last chance on 07.10.2025), but keep in mind that we only offer eight spots per group. After booking, we’ll send all the necessary information via email. There’s also a WhatsApp group for last-minute updates.
For any changes, you can cancel free of charge up to seven days before the camp. After this, the booking becomes binding.
For 75 €, expect a weekend full of fun, new acquaintances, and 2 intensive beach volleyball training sessions.

Mack McKelton – Head coach in kids Camp.
Mack McKelton was an international professional skateboarder from 2006 to 2014 before moving into a career as a radio, TV, and event host – including major shows like Munich MASH with 2.6 million online viewers. Alongside this, he earned his C-coach license and worked as a regional performance coach for Olympic-oriented skateboarding talents in Northeast Germany.
Since 2018, Mack has been a key figure in Berlin’s beach volleyball scene. At Beach61, he regularly leads Open Play sessions, organizes and hosts fun tournaments, and coaches on the sand. With years of experience as an athlete, a Master of Education in Sports & English, and a strong pedagogical background, he combines technical expertise with motivating and enjoyable training methods.
As a father of two sports-loving children, Mack values playful, constructive, and goal-oriented learning. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, his big smile, positive energy, and clear training approach create an inspiring atmosphere. Already well known in the community, Mack brings both fun and professionalism to every beach volleyball session.
