Ehlers/Wickler competed for the season title at the Beach Pro Tour Finals 2024

Freshly awarded the Golden Bear as Berlin’s Athletes of the Year, Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler traveled to Doha to compete for the title at the Beach Pro Tour Finals 2024. The German women’s team, Müller/Tillmann, also aimed for a spot on the podium.

Unfortunately, Ehlers/Wickler fell short of securing a medal, as the men were eliminated in the quarterfinals against the Norwegians. Similarly, Müller and Tillmann exited in the quarterfinals after losing to the Chinese team.

DVV names six national teams for 2025

The German Volleyball Association has announced the national beach volleyball teams for 2025. A total of four women’s pairs and two men’s pairs have been granted national team status.

Men’s Teams:

Beach Pro Tour calender 2025 released

The international season calendar for 2025 has been released. The season kicks off in late March in Mexico and will culminate in November with the prestigious 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Adelaide, Australia. A total of nine Elite16 and six Challenge tournaments are scheduled worldwide, featuring iconic destinations such as Ostrava, Brazil, and Gstaad, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year.

Europameisterschaft und Weltmeisterschaft in 2025

With the home European Championship in Düsseldorf (July 30 to August 3) and the World Championship in Australia (November 14 to 23), this year features two major highlights on the schedule.

The European Championship will take place in Düsseldorf and is scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, July 30: Group Stage (W+M)
Thursday, July 31: Group Stage & Round of 16 (W+M)
Friday, August 1: Round of 8 (W+M), Quarterfinals (W)
Saturday, August 2: Quarterfinals (M), Semifinals (W)
Sunday, August 3: Semifinals (M), Bronze Medal Matches (W+M), Finals (W+M).
