Berlin will host 2 very cool beach volleyball tournaments in August that are definitely worth mentioning. At both tournaments the best players in Germany will be there and there will be an extensive supporting program.

ROCK THE BEACH (19.08.-21.08.)

Off to Berlin for the finals of the first – and certainly not the last! – ROCK the BEACH season! In mid-August, BeachMitte will not only host top-class beach volleyball matches on the Main Court and the three other competition courts, but also the last starting places for the German Championships in Timmendorfer Strand at the beginning of September. At the same time, the Berlin State Championships will be held on Saturday and the community courts of ROCK the BEACH will be available for free play and training.

It is recommended to be there from 10am on Sunday. From then on the semifinals will start.

EDEKA HAUPTSTADTMASTERS (27.08.-28.08.)

The tournament will take place in Beach 61 at Park Gleisdreieck. It is one of the highest categories of possible beach volleyball tournaments in Germany. The main sponsor is EDEKA, so there will be a cool supporting program. Anyway, the atmosphere in Beach 61 is very relaxed and you can combine this visit with a walk in the park.
