A cocktail bar on the right, chilly berths on the left, a long desert with over 50 courts in the front and the TV tower in the back. This is Beach Mitte. Here you will meet a variety of players, from a beginner to a professional, who has often been on World Tour.
At Beach Mitte you can also play in the evening when it gets dark. For this sake floodlights are located over the entire facility.
Beach Mitte is known for the beautiful beach bar and a climbing park. The beach bar can also be used by players in the summer, for example, to have a cool drink after an intense sports session. The beach bar has over 400 seats.

Beachvolleyball facility „Beach 61“ is located in Park am Gleisdreieck and captivates with a relaxed atmosphere. Upon entry into Beach 61 you see the countless beach volleyball courts, which you also can see well from the S-Bahn on your way here. In fact there are 25 courts. It is the second largest beach volleyball park after Beach Mitte and therefore there is a wide range available: floodlights in the evening, a wonderful beach bar, changing rooms and showers (hot and cold) etc.
Beach 61 is only open in summer and usually starts around mid/end of April. The season usually ends here at the end of September.

In South Beach Berlin you can enjoy beachvolleyball all year round. In summer there are 4 courts available. Partly are the courts with ball stop nets and each with a high-quality net system equipped, so that the net height is easily adjustable. On the edge there is a wooden terrace with a lounge area equipped with sun loungers, parasols and palm trees.
If the weather is bad, you can step back into the indoor hall. There you can also book one of the two saunas.

In East 61 you can play volleyball all year round. In summer there are 9 courts available which are bounded on all sides by a high transparent fence. Despite the bounds the courts seem very relaxing, as they are complemented with a chill out terrace and palm trees. In addition to a small range of pizzas there are still drinks and snacks.
There is no sauna compared to South Beach. But there are showers and locker rooms available. The lockers can be closed by own or on-site borrowable locks.

There are 3 facilities with the name Beach Zone in Berlin, but only the Beach Zone in Lichtenberg offers outdoor courts. Beach Zone Lichtenberg is a relatively large beach volleyball oasis, which is located right in the countryside. The relaxed atmosphere is enhanced by the adjacent lake Fennpful. Volkspark Friedrichshain, 6 courts, free but only with your own equiptment.
The Volkspark Friedrichshain is a recreational area in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain. In the middle of the park there is a hollow filled with sand. This “sandbox” offers space for 6 beach volleyball courts.
In front of the park exists a place called Werneuchener Wiese. There is place for approx. 15 beach volleyball courts.
The place has no posts for the nets. This means that everything has to be brought along: posts, nets, demarcations, etc. The place is free but also very popular. In good summer weather all courts are already occupied by 10 o’clock at the weekend. Approximately 100 meters from the hollow there is a WC and a small bar with snacks and drinks. Opposite the park there are of course many restaurants and bars.
While the corona pandemic in 2020/2021 it was possible to play beach volleball at Volkspark Friedrichshain and Werneuchener Wiese.
