Volkspark Friedrichshain, 6 courts, free but only with your own equipment.

The Volkspark Friedrichshain is a recreational area in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain. In the middle of the park there is a hollow filled with sand. This “sandbox” offers space for 6 beach volleyball courts.

In front of beachvolleyball courts you can feel the serenity.
There is a “sandbox” in the middle of the park. 6 Beachvolleyball courts are in the sandbox located. A lot of seat possibilites (also in shadow) are available.
Close to the sandbox is a kiosk. There you can buy some snaks and drinks. WC is also available there.

The place has no posts for the nets. This means that everything has to be brought along: posts, nets, demarcations, etc. The place is free but also very popular. In good summer weather all courts are already occupied by 10 o’clock at the weekend. Approximately 100 meters from the hollow there is a WC and a small bar with snacks and drinks. Opposite the park there are of course many restaurants and bars.
